Evaluation Criteria for Content Creation
Many firms do not give content creation the attention that it actually deserves. Remember, good content can bring you quality visitors who can potentially convert into sales. Keeping all this in mind it becomes essential that enough thought is put into the content that is created.
Though almost every website has some kind of text on it, it is never as easy as putting a bunch of words together. Good content is one that not only communicates clearly to its target audience but it is also cohesive with the design and technicalities of the website. Factors like keywords and relevance of information always have to be kept in mind to make it an interesting read.
topseos has put together a meticulous method of finding good content creation firms. We gather feedback from at least three clients of the firm in question so that we can better categorize the good, average and poor content creation firms.
Here are a few questions that we may ask clients of a content creation firm as part of our evaluation process:
General Queries:
• What type of needs analysis was conducted before work initiated?
• What type of a ROI were you anticipating, what was achieved and in what time frame?
• What would be 3 things you would change about your experience?
• What was your total investment?
• Rate your overall experience (1-10; 10 being the highest).
Project Specific Queries :
• How is keyword research performed to identify the keywords that will be targeted in the content?
• How is keyword density used in relation to content creation?
• What editing processes are put in place?
• Are topic development strategies used? Which ones?
• Are conversions measured from the content that is generated? How?
