It is advisable that when you choose a set of keywords, you should choose as many as you possibly can. Go for ten keywords or keyword phrases, the first time you choose a set of keywords. To enable you to achieve multiple keyword rankings, you are going to have to do some basic work on your web site.

So let's say you have chosen ten new keywords or keyword phrases. You will need to create an article for each keyword and upload these articles to your website. You should create a new web page for each of the different articles.

Each article will have its own unique keyword phrase. It is not advisable to use multiple keywords on a page if you wish to be highly ranked for that keyword.

So create your ten articles and submit them to the ten separate pages on your web site. Now whenever you create an article for submitting to the web directories it is important that you include a text anchor link to

(1) one of the articles on your website and
(2) to your squeeze page on your website.

Most article directories allow you between 2 and 6 links in your article and/or bio. If your article directory allows more than two then go ahead and include more links.

It doesn't really matter if your article is not perfect. You can always go back and edit. What is important here is to get something up so that you can begin to generate back links.
