I figured that if you've been reading my blog you deserve to know a little more about me and what sort of path has led me to where I am today. I guess these days most bios can end up sounding the same, so I'll try and give you a bit of personal detail so you know who I am outside of work.

Since the inception of ACS, I have project managed the creation of Crazy Egg and other applications on the side and continue to expand my knowledge in networking, software, and the Internet. I am also obtaining a business degree from California State University of Fullerton such that I can learn more about business and add value to ACS.

I am a web strategy consultant with a strong background in search engine marketing, both paid and organic. In addition to search engine marketing I also have a focus on social media marketing and online reputation management. I am currently the Director of Marketing of ACS; I joined the company in March '06. Right now I also play a big role in the managing one of our startup products, Serph. Serph is a buzz-tracking tool that is primarily used for reputation monitoring but can also be used to find the buzz on anything happening right now.

Hello, my name is Ryan Fujiu (pronounced Foo - Jew); Growing up in suburbia with a Japanese last name like Fujiu, you could imagine how many nicknames I had; Fujitsu, Fooled-ju, Fuj, Fu-ju-ju-bes, just to name a few. To this day, most of my friends still call me by one of these nicknames.

I am currently a student at The University of Chicago, where I am finishing up my B.A. in Economics, and a minor in slavic languages and literature (with a focus on Russian). I spend most of my free time on various social bookmarking and networking sites (Digg, Netscape, Facebook) and writing about social media and socially driven content.
