Develop and manage organic search engine program to generate incremental revenue. Responsible for determining the right level of spend in PPC program to complement our SEO efforts and further increase sales. Manage relationship (and selection as needed) with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEM (PPC) partners to optimize the website(s) including; web page meta tags, URL naming conventions, development of content and page design recommendation. SEO/SEM Keyword selection and analysis, targeted page and content development, site-hierarchy and link architecture, link-building. Analyze conversion points and paths, monitor key website metrics including site traffic and traffic from search engines. Conduct multivariate tests to optimize offers and forms – maximizing website conversion to Qualified Leads. Report on and communicate the application of SEM and SEO strategies, performance metrics and programs. Increase traffic to websites through multiple streams including: organic search, partner sites and affiliates. Work with Product and Marketing to determine new link placements and copy for new product introductions and promotional products. Work with the development team to identify and implement optimization projects. Keyword/domain research and monitoring of our search engine rankings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 Years eCommerce Marketing experience
- Extensive experience in B2B SEM and SEO including management of large scale pay-per-click campaigns. Current knowledge of B2B SEM and SEO best practices.
- Demonstrated experience using Google Adwords for large targeted campaigns. Google AdWords certification is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of white hat SEO/SEM methods and best practices.
- Strong understanding of web analytics.
- Online consumer marketing experience.
- A track record for driving traffic and increasing search rankings.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- HTML experience is preferred.
- Ability to use and analyze information to glean insights for improving our search ranking, overall traffic to the website and the value of the traffic.
