PHP Web Programmer - LAMP, MySQL, HTML, Javascript, Linux

Responsibilities:
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for planning, researching, designing, coding, testing and deploying database-driven web-based applications that support our customer base, affiliates and internal users. Specific responsibilities include:

• Building, changing & maintaining MySQL databases
• Building, changing & maintaining PHP web applications
• Building reports in Microsoft Reporting Services (SQL Server 2005) using C# and ASPX
• Meeting with management / colleagues to gather software requirements
• Creating functional designs based on requirements

Must Have Skills:
• Must be highly proficient with Linux/Unix/LAMP environments
• Must have 2-4 years professional experience developing database-driven web applications
• Must have extensive knowledge of DBMS, specifically MySQL 4.0+
• Must have 2-4 years experience developing websites with PHP 4.0+
• Must be highly proficient with HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.

Nice to Have Skills:
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Reporting Services, Integration Services, and report writings
• Must be comfortable using MS Office, notably Access for report writing
• Experience with the eZ Publish PHP content management framework is a big plus
• Experience administering Unix and Apache is a plus
• Visual creativity (graphics, layout, design) is a plus
• Experience with web development technologies like is a plus (Perl, ASP, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) is a plus
• Experience with source control software and practices
