We are looking for someone who can provide superior customer service by processing directional advertising orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with client programs and publisher guidelines.? The role will have a central focus on print advertising solutions, such as Yellow Pages and Internet Yellow Pages. This person will gain and apply knowledge of client program objectives, products, incentive programs and systems effectively. The position will be working out of our Toronto office during regular hours but will be processing orders for our clients in Vancouver.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Order Process and Administration
- Prepare error free directional advertising orders and transmit to publishers in compliance with the clients’ program and workflow processes, while meeting the agreed standards for performance, accuracy and timeliness that will contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
Customer Service & Consultation
- Delivers excellent customer service by being both proactive and responsive while providing guidance to the client about their advertising opportunities and demonstrating knowledge of their programs.
- Where applicable, helps build specific decentralized client programs using the consultative approach & making appropriate recommendations based on pre-determined account strategies as determined by the Account Director.
- Responsible for execution of the pre-determined plan for Corporate or Centralized client programs at the directory/local online level.
Planning Support
- Supports Account Director and/or Account Executive in building plan recommendations by assisting in the gathering and/or inputting of specific information (i.e.) data input into the competitive analysis model, matrix and/?or predictive model tools.
Publisher Programs & Industry Knowledge
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of directional media publishers/vendors, products, positioning rules, and incentive programs.
- Opportunities must be interpreted and applied accurately to clients’ programs with timely appropriate communication to both clients and publishers.
Systems, applications & reporting
- Ensure all internal systems, applications, reports and technical industry information is understood and applied appropriately, for the efficient processing of client and publisher orders.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is required
- 2-5 years experience in an office environment
- Very detailed
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service and communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office – specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and not need constant supervision
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to strict daily deadlines and re-prioritize throughout the day
