The role of the Interactive Marketing Manager is to facilitate the development and execution of all interactive marketing efforts for Smithsonian Student Travel. Responsibilities include the project management of content and design for the public consumer site and the secure customer site. The Interactive Marketing Manager oversees efforts that drive leads and conversion for sales including SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) e-marketing campaigns, landing pages, vertical banner advertising, and content placement.
This position is responsible for measuring the success of all interactive marketing efforts through ongoing reporting and recommending new ways to increase sales leads and conversion online. The interactive marketing manager oversees project-related budgets, timelines and resources.
