We are looking for an ambitious self-driven individual to provide strategic and operational leadership to create and deliver natural search result listings for our UK businesses. Based in Hammersmith as leader of the UK SEO Team, this person will have the opportunity to own SEO initiatives that greatly influence the UK business while contributing to major programs in support of the larger global business. They will establish best practices for the site(s) and work with all team members to ensure that all UK based sites are benefiting from the latest search engine optimization techniques.
The Senior SEO manager must be a data centric, strategic and hands-on individual who strives to make an immediate positive impact on a successful, fast growing internet business. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the principles of search engines and the internet, and will leverage that knowledge to create projects and deliver improvements on all our UK brands as well as the HomeAway sites in DK, SE, IT, PT, NO, FI, NL, ES and FR.
This Senior SEO Manager will drive and integrate company wide projects for travellers and holiday home owners alike. From technology platform migrations to managing advertiser education programmes, you will manage the UK team consisting of a SEO manager, Copywriter and link builders. The SEO Team ensures that site optimisation, content projects, keyword research, and link building initiatives are constantly improved and monitored to achieve the best results in the search engines.
The Sr. SEO Manager will be analytical, with a high attention to detail, and keen on monitoring the site(s) in order to fully understand how we are improving our natural search results, how search spiders are interacting with our site(s) and other key performance indicators.
He/she will work report to our UK Country Manager as a senior UK staff member, and will work closely with brand managers, marketing, the technology team and testers, and SEO counterparts in the UK, EU and US.
Responsibilities
Strategic direction of SEO for the locally managed websites
Operational management of search engine projects including, linking, content generation, new page creation, testing etc
Continual optimisation on a portfolio of websites
Reporting and analysis of search campaigns and related web analytics
Ongoing use of tools such as Keyword research, Rankings and Reporting tools to recommend improvements
Assist internal team members that run SEO projects on their respective sites
Manage the day to day operations and running of PPC campaigns with an external supplier
Manage and report on all traffic sources
Team management and development
Recommended vendors for:
