Senior Web Developer

Job Description:

The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the development and implementation of website applications. The Senior Web Developer should create functional and scalable applications based on the requirements defined by the Product Manager and Website Development Manager. The Senior Web Developer also works with other teams including designers, developers and QA.
The Senior Web Developer reports to the Website Development Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain website applications using ASP.NET, C#, MySQL
- Develop solutions that meet the business requirements and objectives
- Define and document the architecture and processes for projects
- Provides direction to other developers and ensure the smooth integration of website applications
- Work closely with other teams including developers, designers and QA
- Communicates with Managers, Team Leads and Product Owners to accomplish business goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of industry experience; Equivalencies will be considered
- Exceptional understanding of web technologies and processes
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, SQL and Visual Studio
- Strong knowledge of HTML,  JavaScript, AJAX
- Effectively communicate technical decisions and project status to all stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize, organize and get the work done
- Ability to deliver high quality work on time and on budget
- Understanding of SEO principles
