Manager, Marketing (On-line, Leasing & Research) will work with and report to Director, Marketing on division-wide strategic initiatives critical to online marketing growth and support key leasing initiatives as directed. Projects include the use of email and social media as key communications platforms, building customer preference databases for e-communications, shifting print ads and direct mail coupons to online, mobile web and micro-sites, search engine optimization and paid online advertising. Ability to clearly communicate in written form is essential to articulate key messages. Strategic initiatives include developing and implementing next-generation websites and microsites, and defining strategies to optimize current web presence. The position will also involve research and analysis of e-comm metrics, competitive websites and social networking sites such as MySpace and FaceBook.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Coordinates content, maintenance, production of ShopTheIrvineCompany.com
* Executes e-communications and click through tracking reports for b-2-b and consumer audiences
* Manages email list and email acquisition programs
* Analyzes and recommends search engine optimization and online advertising
* Expert on website administration tool (CMS/content management system), training, updates
* Directly responsible for maintaining content for leasing website
* Manages online gift card program
* Writes with clear articulation of key messages to achieve project objectives
* Manages and coordinates weekly division newsletter
* Produces In The Know quarterly newsletter
* Proactively brings print campaign elements to online
* Produces and analyzes quarterly web trends reporting
* Responsible for management of web photography assets
* Oversees online marketing budget and timing of online projects and expenses
* Coordinates and assists with retail portfolio archive management
* Coordinates and produces corporate/leasing print materials as directed
* Creates research reports using ESRI software, updates online
* Assists with presentations as needed for division
* Interfaces with various levels throughout the division and company
* Resource to leasing and division marketing teams
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Strong project and agency management experience
* Ability to work in cross functional and cross divisional projects
* Strong writing skills necessary to articulate key messages
* Technical skills needed; basic knowledge of HTML, familiarity with DreamWeaver, ESP (e-mail service provider) such as SilverPop, PhotoShop, familiarity with website analytics, Pay Per Click and Search Engine Marketing program management, experience with Photoshop, management of Web site development efforts, e-mail marketing program management, and ability to manage online agencies, projects and budgets.
Qualifications:
Eight or more years of relevant work experience. Management experience required. Bachelor's degree, additional experience and/or relevant certifications required.
