Marcel Media, an online advisory firm specializing in Search Engine Marketing, is looking for an Outside Sales Representative with a passion for the Internet and knowledge and experience in the SEO/PPC/Internet Marketing field.

Description:
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling Internet marketing services to all sizes of organizations. The Sales Consultant will primarily target Directors and Vice Presidents of marketing departments. Responsibilities range from developing account opportunities, defining the Internet marketing services to meet the accounts needs, and selling/closing services to meet our prospective clients business goals, as well as building and solidifying lasting relationships with customers. This position offers competitive salary (commensurate with experience) plus commission plus eligibility for yearend bonus based on revenue and company goals.

Responsibilities Include:

* Develop, prospect and cultivate leads using multiple sources
* Set up face to face and phone meetings with qualified prospects
* Meet individual quarterly and annual sales goals
* Assess potential business deals, negotiate favorable terms, and acquire prospect commitment
* Construct proposals/contracts within selling guidelines (product offerings, pricing, etc.) established by Marcel Media.
* Serve as a liaison between Company and targeted client prospects.
* Communicate ongoing contact/sales activities through Sales Pipeline Report and Call Reports and Salesforce.com.
* Display a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Company's competitive advantages.
* Stay current on changes and best practices in Internet marketing
* Listen to, identify, and understand prospects' viewpoint and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and expectations
* Provide documentation on new client acquisitions to the Operations team
* Manage relationship with client on an ongoing basis
* Continued development and skill sharpening in the online marketing industry

Experience

* Understanding of search engine marketing and web development
* 3-5 years sales experience required preferably in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce/software industries
* Exceptional research and analytic, presentation skills
* Bachelors degree required
* High competency level in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
* Strategic thinker with proven consulting skills
* Proven track record of sales success
* Must have experience in Internet marketing, ideally with strong industry relationships
* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and succinct presentation skills to prospects at all decision-making levels
* Self-motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
* Success in an entrepreneurial environment
* Extremely ambitious and hard working
