POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a product and online marketing manager to join MF Global’s corporate marketing team to support the online and offline client retention and new business development efforts of our lines of business.?
This person should be a fast learner, creative, high energy and able to work independently to proactively create and implement effective marketing strategies.? Superior written and verbal communication skills and an interest and fluency in online and social media are absolutely essential.? The position will report to MF Global’s vice president, marketing communications.?
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
Build marketing resources and provide consultative and marketing services to MF Global lines of business:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns, incorporating online and print advertising, direct mail, email, Internet marketing, marketing collateral, and other marketing and promotional methods
- Produce marketing materials – from concept and drafting of content through execution and distribution – that showcase MF Global’s strengths and business offerings as well as best communicate MF Global’s messages
> Web copy, marketing brochures and factsheets, advertising, letters to clients, PowerPoint presentations, etc.?
- Proactively conceive strategies and tactics to propose to lines of business that will raise rates of customer acquisition, retention, and cross/?up-selling.?
Support the implementation of global online marketing strategy:
- Assist MF Global’s businesses and regional offices develop and implement marketing programs using websites; email; online advertising and promotions; and search-engine marketing (SEM/?SEO).?
- Oversee online market analysis, tracking, assessing and evaluating and presenting website statistics on ongoing basis
- Assist in devising planning, developing, implementing, and executing corporate and line of business online advertising campaigns
- Constantly keep abreast of marketplace activities including competitor initiatives, new technologies and techniques, and customer trends
Bring an organized approach to providing marketing support to MF Global lines of business:
- Coordinate all marketing efforts with MF Global design and Web services teams as well as appropriate external vendors
- Deliver superior client service MF Global internal clients to foster great relationships
- Network with MF Global business managers and fellow marketing professionals around the globe to gain knowledge on what types of programs and services should have a priority
- Test, track, and evaluate results of all marketing initiatives to ensure proper use of resources and continuous improvement
- Diligently manage marketing expenses so that they are within approved marketing budget

Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships – must be comfortable interacting with coworkers in a very flat organization and able to affect their thinking and gain acceptance from them.?
Ability to formulate an integrated marketing plan to reach the appropriate target audiences, communicate the most effective messages, and maximize overall marketing return on investment.?

QUALIFICATIONS and MARKETING EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in marketing or related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of traditional marketing disciplines and 5-7 years of related online and offline marketing and branding experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Financial services industry experience
- Experience with producing high-quality marketing campaigns and collateral
WEB EXPERIENCE
- Knowledgeable about Web 2.?0 tools and technologies, digital best practices and user behavior.?
- Experience in constructing well-written, graphically pleasing content for online activities, the website, online promotions, etc
- Experience in optimizing websites – growing traffic, enhancing user experience, lead generation and driving interaction.?
- Experience with web content management packages
- Experience with web analytic tools including WebTrends and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with SEO
