Key Responsibilities
- Helps to create and implement digital media strategy for the Minto Properties
- Coordinates with business lines across Minto Properties to ensure the strategy is effective and ensures the adoption of relevant digital/?social media techniques
- Develops the roadmap for the social media tools and directs integration on minto.com
- Provides benchmarks and analyzes data to support decision-making and enhance success of campaign targets
- Sources and manages relationships with social media, platform partners, and corporate counterparts
- Researches, administers, and monitors digital and social media tools on a daily basis in support of the business social media strategy
- Delivers against the customer engagement initiatives online and is responsible for participating and managing the online dialogue
- Supports the team development of social media capabilities
- Implements best practices and guidelines, and develops internal training tools to foster a social and digital-savvy team
- Connects and support all non-digital marketing and communication efforts
- Participates in industry associations to network, share experiences and acquire knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Monitors and research competition through analysis of sales, pricing, collection of plans, incentives, etc...
- Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management
Education:
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations / Digital Media(or other similar area of study)
- Advantage: CMA's Digital Marketing Certificate, IAB Canada's Interactive certificate, Online Marketing Institute certificate
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years in marketing, with advanced knowledge and understanding of digital media platforms.
