Job Description: The Online Marketing Specialist will coordinate many aspects of the client's online and interactive marketing and advertising efforts. Responsibilties: - Manage and optimize existing search engine marketing campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Build reports that support the continual optimization of campaigns, and continue to work toward the goal of decreasing cost per click while increasing the return on investment for search campaigns. - Assist in the development of online marketing campaigns that leverage search, banners and other online channels to drive traffic, acquisition, and awareness. - Keep abreast of internet and marketing developments to keep the team at the forefront of industry - Review current SEO tactics and make recommendations for improvements - Apply search engine optimization best practices to College Board web properties - Determine the right lev
el of spend in PPC program to complement our SEO efforts and further increase sales - Manage relationship (and selection as needed) with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and SEM (PPC) partners to optimize website(s) including; web page meta tags, URL naming conventions, development of content and page design recommendation - SEO/SEM keyword selection and analysis, targeted page and content development, site-hierarchy and link architecture, link-building - Report on and communicate the application of SEM and SEO strategies, performance metrics and programs. Increase traffic to website through multiple streams including: organic search, partner sites, etc. - Conduct keyword/domain research and monitoring of search engine rankings Required Skills: - 2-5 years online marketing experience - Extensive experience with SEM and SEO including management of large scale pay-per-click campaigns. - Current knowledge of SEM and SEO best practices - Demonstrated experience using Google
Adwords for large targeted campaigns - Knowledge of white hat SEO/SEM methods and best practices - Strong understanding of web analytics - Online consumer marketing experience - A track record of driving traffic and increasing search rankings - Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills - Abiltiy to use and analyze information to glean insights for improving our search ranking, overall traffic to the website and the value of the traffic - Some HTML experience is preferred - Google AdWords certification preferred, but not required.
