Key Responsibilities
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, directing and making changes to our web sites and their content/keywords so they are properly optimized for search engines.
Knowledge and experience in search engine optimization and marketing techniques and strategies is preferred, including: keyword analysis and selection; competitive site analysis; keyword density analysis; optimization of site content; optimization of meta tags, page titles, and descriptions; inbound and outbound link placement; internal linking strategies; and site submission.
• Passion to learn about SEO and study all the latest ethical techniques.
• Review and analyze our web sites, identifying areas for improvement and change relative to SEO. Communication of these findings (and resolutions of issues) to senior management.
• Develop SEO content to include strategic key phrase placement within compelling copy that maximizes opportunities for indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion. Create original content while including necessary keywords, titles and descriptions to improve the performance of a site.
• Responsible for implementing strategies such as changing keywords, H1 tags, copy on web site and implementing editorial improvements to meet our objectives and desired targeted organic search positions.
• Coordinate and lead our inbound and outbound linking work.
• Work closely with colleagues to test different search engine marketing and web site design ideas to improve search engine optimization for clients’ sites.
• Develops, delivers, and analyzes/interprets Search Engine Optimization reports which play a key role in site traffic analysis, organic search placement, and the effectiveness of the overall Search Engine Optimization strategy.
