Desired Candidate Profile The Internet Marketing Manager is responsible for driving demand for sales to engage and close and possesses a solid understanding of trends in interactive marketing and SaaS development and delivery. Roles & Responsibilities Planning and Budgeting – Lead and manage ongoing website and key online and integrated marketing initiatives (planning, budgeting, execution, and evaluation). Lead Generation - Plan and execute campaigns to produce qualified leads for sales. SEO - Lead the development and execution of search efforts, including optimization and continuous improvement of natural search results. Internet Advertising – Define, assess, prioritize, execute, measure, and continuously improve the methods and performance of Internet advertising. Social Networking – Assess potential ways in which social networking (Blogs, etc.) can be used for communications with current users, potential customers, and other influential constituents. Website Development – Manage the development, on-going improvement and maintenance of the user interface, standard modules, search engine optimization, and general functionality. Performance Tracking – Responsible for working with the VP of Sales to measure, report, and respond to KPIs with regard to traditional and web advertising and website implementation. Qualifications for Consideration Prior track record of success in B2B marketing of SaaS, traditional software, or marketing tools College degree & minimum 5-7 years experience, with 3+ years in broad online marketing Well versed in the collection of and interpretation of web, CRM, and other analytic data. Experience and expertise in or with Agencies and Marketing Service Providers Polished, articulate, and professional demeanor with persuasive communication skills Self-starter, high energy and enthusiastic, with flexible schedule. Ability to perform in startup corporate culture with resilience Proficiency in MS Office and Internet-based applications including Salesforce.com.
