Marketing Specialist Department: Specialty Real Estate and Equipment Finance Group (RFD, GFD, VFD) Reports to: Director of Marketing JOB SUMMARY: This individual reports to the division marketing director and is responsible for creation and execution of customer acquisition and retention campaigns. Position supports the growth and expansion of company products and services. Provide support to all Specialty Real Estate and Equipment Finance Groups (Golf Finance - Golf and Marina Mortgage, Resort Finance - Hotel and Timeshare and Vendor Finance – Golf, Construction and Agriculture Equipment Financing) business units by executing marketing and communication activities in strategic marketing plans. This position is responsible for assisting the Group achieve their business objectives related to growth in receivables (through retention and acquisition), top-line revenue, ROIC, and fee income. Specific duties and responsibilities are shown below: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DUTIES · Execute, track and communicate elements of marketing communication plans – specifically in the areas of public relations (Content creation - writing, editing, proofing articles, press releases, case studies, etc), Web Marketing (leveraging the web/internet to gain exposure, lead generation) and Association Memberships. 35% · Internal communications: ERIC articles, Portal maintenance (if needed), Mdash Updates, Town Hall updates, etc. 15% · Track marketing activities and efforts and measure return on marketing investment and return on objective. 10% · Serve as support for administration of Salesforce.com 10% · Marketing research and segmentation 10% · Assist director of marketing and other group marketing specialists with other projects as assigned (sales meeting, ad hoc projects, etc.) 5% · Sales and Marketing meetings and presentations (*includes CSLM presentations)5% · Update SFDC with campaign information, submit completed materials through TeamTrack for necessary approvals, share information with team/counterparts for best practices. 5% · Assist in formulating annual strategic marketing plans. 5% KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT: Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or Business (e.g., BA or BS degree) required or equivalent work experience. Prior Relevant Work Experience (Years and Type) 4-6 years prior marketing experience in the area of marketing communications (with emphasis in public relations and web). Specialized Training or Background: Familiar with a variety of marketing concepts, practices and procedures. Superior writing ability (content creation, proofing, editing) Knowledge and experience with public relations activities (press releases, articles, speaking engagements, thought leadership pieces, etc.) Knowledge and experience with best web marketing strategies and practices (drive to web strategies, web content, SEO) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Microsoft office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Salesforce.com (Database programs) a definite plus!
