This position is responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of virtual and instructor led product knowledge, sales skills and technical training programs to sales teams, supporting Sales and Marketing initiatives as determined by the Senior Manager, Training and Development.
Responsibilities:
- Identify training needs for sales representatives, in consultation with regional sales managers
- Design training courses and programs to meet training needs; applying a blended learning approach as appropriate
- Facilitate training sessions either via webinar or in classroom and be able to adapt presentation of material to medium
- Assess and evaluate success of training programs, create follow up performance plans for individuals where necessary
- Organize training venues and logistics as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery
- Stay informed and up to date on relevant skills and knowledge specifically in relation to internet marketing
Qualifications/background
- Certificate in Adult Learning desirable, with experience in designing and creating training content (both e learning and instructor led)
- 3-5 years sales training experience
- Working up to date knowledge of internet marketing principles; SEO, SEM, Social Media etc
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Successful sales background a asset
- Strong collaborator with experience working in cross functional teams
