We're hiring a Content Writer to provide crisp, well-crafted promotional copy for Travelocity's wide array of products and marketing initiatives. We want someone who loves to write, understands and uses the Internet's most cutting-edge sites, and enjoys collaborating with others in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, team-oriented environment. Attention to detail, impeccable grammar, a love of travel, and an uncanny ability to think past the clichés and write truly original copy under deadline are what we're looking for in a candidate. Position is based in Travelocity's San Francisco office. Please include a cover letter and writing samples in your application.
 
ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES:
- Writing promotional copy for Travelocity products.
- Providing editorial and strategic support for Travelocity's marketing initiatives.
- Contributing to other content projects in support of the Travelocity brand.
- Providing support to senior writers and editors.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Journalism, New Media, or Marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2-3 years editorial and/or copywriting experience in an online environment.
- In-depth experience and interest in Internet sites, social media, SEO practices, and applications.
- Familiarity with the travel industry, ecommerce, and marketing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Computer proficiency including an ability to work with content management tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
