Job Description:

Unified Technical, Inc. has a Senior Web Digital Analyst with a Fortune 500 company in Palo Alto, CA . The position offers full benefits, vacation, holiday pay, bonus and 401K plan.

Summary:
As a senior digital analyst, this person is responsible for developing comprehensive measurement programs that deliver meaningful metrics and actionable insights. The outputs of company's analytics programs will demonstrate the value of the company*s digital investments, inform the optimization of the digital strategy, and measure the digital impact to company's revenue results. This position will report to the Director of Digital Analytics and Insights in the Digital Strategy organization.

Description:
* Collect and analyze data to derive key insights from the ecosystem of digital marketing activities. Synthesize findings and recommend "the next step", whether it be more in-depth analysis, experimental designs & testing, integration of additional measurement techniques, etc.
* Execute the technical implementation of Omniture tagging on the web site to collect web site metrics
* Derive insights from the analysis of various digital data sources and present findings to a senior executive audience. The ideal candidate will have extremely strong presentation and business writing skills and proven experience communicating to senior, non-analyst stakeholders.
* Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple "listening posts" - web sites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, personalization, market research, etc.
* Provide support to multiple business unit web sites and conduct analysis across all facets of the decision making platform - clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis, personalization.
* Support the analytics needs of a business unit by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as Omniture, Webtrends, Websidestory, Google Analytics, etc.
* Collaborate with external partners, third-parties, and marketing peers to implement and optimize data collection and reporting.
* Use past experience with business intelligence tools, such as Brio, Business Objects, SAS/EG, or SQL, to derive in-depth analysis and data insights.
* Partner outside the business units and outside the company to stay current with best practices in metrics and decision making and ensure they are being recommended to the business unit management and core web site decision makers.

Typical Deliverables:
* Deliver daily CMO updates for key web sites, including an executive summary for company's executive staff on KPI performance and actions being affected by regions and businesses. Written communication should be extremely clear and suitable for C-Level management.
* Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, verbal and written, in and across corporate businesses on a daily basis.
* Conduct deep-dive analysis of the performance of key business and region digital assets on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Lead the implementation of the measurement strategy across a complex digital ecosystem and in multiple channels - search, social, mobile, traditional web and interactive, and offline.
* Conduct regular analysis of web site behavior and customer experience.
* Design and implement multivariate and A/B testing analysis and documentation - conduct research to establish hypotheses, influence interaction and creative with data and analysis, define success metrics, criteria and targets, design and implement testing methodology, and conduct post test analysis.
* Forecast and implement regression-based techniques for time-series data sets.
* Collaborate with internal analysts and statisticians to define a predictive analytics strategy for the digital channel.
* Execute data consolidation and validation activities.
* Synthesize business requirements from multiple sources including product managers, development teams, and functional group members.
* Develop documentation of existing processes and bring forth suggestions to improve and optimize.

Knowledge / Background / Experience:
* Five to seven years cumulative digital or web analytics experience.
* Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
* At least three to four years working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, HBX, CoreMetrics etc.
* Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
* Three to five years of experience in one or more roles in online ecommerce or online marketing.
* Three to five years of experience using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel skills.
* Three to five years of business analysis experience in large size companies with multiple functions/business units preferred.
* Mid-level expertise in search engine marketing (SEM)/pay per click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies, and a minimum one year experience measuring the success of SEM/PPC and SEO campaigns/efforts.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
* Project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques a plus.
* Expertise with business intelligence tools a plus.

* Thought leadership: needs to be on the cutting edge of the digital industry and really love diving into the numbers

* Identifies and communicates specific personal growth goals for self.

Technical / Functional Skills:
* Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence changes on the web site.
* Understands the complex digital ecosystems and best practices and applies this knowledge to their work.
* Understands relevant technology applications in their area.
* Using strong analytical skills, provides insights as well as recommendations for change, and convinces key company decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
* Identifies and drives requirements trade-offs by proposing solutions to business unit leadership.
* Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed.
* Collaborates on creation of project plan and tasks for the team.
