Marketing / Development Coordinator

Unique Image, Inc., a marketing/pr/print media firm seeks an experienced Marketing / Development Coordinator who will be responsible for actively soliciting advertisers and marketing partners for our magazine publication, as well as organizing and implementing our philanthropic efforts through our non-profit outreach.

Job description: The marketing/development coordinator's responsibilities include:

Provide leadership, professional expertise and strategic direction for the company flagship products and niche market publication. Responsible for a portion of the copywriting issues including magazine articles, brochure and Internet copy, news releases and more. Identifying new prospects; planning and implementing efforts to cultivate and solicit them; Writing solicitation and acknowledgement communications and proposals; Soliciting current and prospective clients; Communicating with clients on a timely and regular basis; Planning and organizing fundraising events; Overseeing the non-profit’s outreach program; Drafting reports, such as to foundations on projects they have funded and updates to the Executive Team; Maintaining the client database

Other responsibilities include the research, development, implementation, and analysis of new programs that will drive long-term revenue growth. Responsible for leading project teams from program concept to launch of test initiatives, followed by analysis on performance to determine long-term viability of the initiative.

Workload: This is a full-time position based in Northridge, CA. It requires at times out-of-hours work, on evenings and weekends.

Experience: A minimum of five years experience working in marketing and development. Candidates should have a degree in marketing and/or development.
