Sustained growth, from both new business and the launch of exciting new products, has now led to the company looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role.
In this key role you’ll be responsible for selling the company’s services to the not-for-profit sector, including large sporting and charitable organisations. An interest or understanding in any of these areas would therefore be highly beneficial to your application. This isn’t a hard sale role – rather one that will require the ability to listen to a client’s requirements, understand their needs and tailor a solution to suit them.
Selling to clients mainly in London and the South East, as a Business Development Manager, the services you will be tasked with promoting include website development, graphic design, SEO and online marketing. For the right person, this role offers the potential to head up one of the business development teams as the company expands.

As a Business Development Manager your duties will include:
- selling and cross-selling the company’s suite of products and services
- managing the sales cycle from identifying new clients to completion
- delivering first rate sales pitches, dealing with complex negotiation, and winning business over and above other agencies
- managing client relationships with exceptional commitment and commercial acumen
To be considered for this position, you must have proven professional B2B sales experience and a degree level qualification. A background in online media or related industry or experience in the not-for-profit sector would be beneficial.
As a Business Development Manager, you should also be target driven, an excellent communicator and able to work on your own initiative. A genuine interest in technology is also important, and a driving licence is necessary.
