Click Forensics 4.0

Overview

Click Forensics 4.0™ combines patent pending click fraud detection technology with the collective intelligence of the members of the Click Fraud Network. With Click Forensics 4.0, advertisers are able to accurately measure click fraud by several attributes including search term, providers, time of day, country of origin and conversion rates. This tool is designed to help advertisers improve the ROI of their online campaigns by using the most accurate rating methodology in the industry.

Click Forensics 4.0 features four attribute sets:

Technical Monitoring: Tracks both the advertiser and search provider side of the Pay Per Click advertising equation, using a hybrid log file analysis method to monitor for anonymous proxy server identification, IP validation, cookie-to-IP validation, as well as original source and masked behavior.

Behavioral Attributes: Going beyond the search provider’s available data, Click Forensics monitors the behavioral attributes of a “click through,” such as visit depths, viewing patterns, trend analysis, time between clicks and more. The Click Forensics Rating Engine utilizes the advertiser’s site side data and applies historical visit activity by visitor to identify potential unwanted clicks.

Market and Economic Review: Market intelligence, such as trends in term costs and competitive pressure, has a direct impact on click fraud levels. Click Forensics monitors these attributes and uses the Click Forensics Rating Engine and its comprehensive algorithms to apply the information for specific campaigns and help better identify unwanted clicks.
