The founder of Search Influence, William Scott has a long history with Small Business on the Web. Since the year 2000 Will has been working to make the web work for small business. Recent events in the New Orleans area have made online communications far more significant in the lives of thousands of small business owners. In many cases - if not for online sales there would have been NO sales in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Hurricane Katrina was a wake up call for Scott. Will decided to embark on a mission - and it is a mission, not just a "mission statement". Will knew his experience during the storm required action. The Internet, Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Affiliate Revenue programs needed to become accessible to small business.

Will was, at the time of Katrina , a partner in a small business web site company and an executive for an online yellow pages provider saw immediately the opportunity to put his knowledge of the web to a good use in support of small businesses world wide.
