This paper has resorted to ghetto tactics to find subscribers. This is Texas, not a place to be out tricking people. My advice is to close your paper and sell used cars that don't run. Or, make legitimate offers with no fine print and no lyin dmn salespeople. Not at all impressed with your product or shady business practices.

Well it's not the place that i like its the actual newspaper itself. It had been around for as long as i can remember. It is a great source for news! Keep up the good work. However you Must make sure the news you report is accurate. I know at least one artical that was issued in Nov. 2015 wrote a very slanderous article. None the less, it has been My only source of info.

Contacted for the DMN for 10 years and was only an 'independent' contractor when it was convenient for them. Like most of their 'independent contractors' I was forced to dummy up circulation numbers so they could maintain their advertising rates and by 'dummying up' circulation numbers I mean I had to purchase newspapers that I had no customers for. Essentially I paid out of my pocket so they could keep charging advertisers the same rates. I was finally let go because of declining circulation in my district which was about 75% Spanish speaking and about half of those probably shouldn't even be in the country in the first place. Impossible to sell newspaper subscriptions in a district like that and difficult to dummy up the numbers enough to make the auditors believe circulation was actually increasing without going broke myself. Don't know if the auditors are stupid or if they give a wink and look the other way when examining the DMN circulation numbers. Advertisers beware, you are not reaching anywhere near the households the DMN tells you you are. They are FRAUDS!

This paper is dynasty and has operated as such for many years. They are undertaking a major overhaul at every level. The proverbial slate is being wiped clean. This paper is a Dallas institution and will turn around.
