What a shame. This company has become a complete scam and their support is total garbage.When I first joined years ago, I did so because their office was literally right down the road from me in Durham. They were super friendly. They had great support, and great pricing.Then they moved out of Durham and things just went downhill. Their prices got higher. They completely shut off all phone support. You can't even email them directly without first opening a ticket from your customer portal online. And their live chat is slow as molasses. Their customer service reps don't even have full names anymore… they just give generic first names and initials, and you have no idea who you're actually even talking to.But the worst part is how money-grubby they have become. They charged me for a domain that I had cancelled auto-renewal on, 16 days in advance of the actual payment due date, and then refused to refund me when I immediately contacted them the next day about the unexpected charge. They stonewalled me when I pointed out to them that the renewal payment wasn't even due yet, and refused to refund. I had to do a chargeback on my credit card.Needless to say, I've cancelled my entire account with them and I would encourage everyone reading this to stay far away and don't even sign up. Look up some other hosting provider. There is literally NOTHING that sets A Small Orange apart anymore.

Stay far away! They will continue to charge subscriptions for services that you have cancelled and then give you credits to their site when you contact support.

This was a good site when I first began services with them in 2014. I have just cancelled all of my services. I am charged without my consent for renewals on services that I have had cancelled, and when I requested a refund I was told it was impossible as the service had already been provided. Bye, ASO - you meant well.

Absolutely HORRIBLE support. They are crooks. A small orange owes me $150 and will not pay me. They just keep saying, OK, we will make a ticket and someone will get back to you. A month later, no one. STAY AWAY!

Company had their employees accessing my website and deleting pages and content absolutely without permission, even claimed by the company that they had no permission to access like such. Yet daily my site and work was sabotaged even on a newly built site with security. Yet they have access to the backend through their control panel. Needless to say, two callbacks were promised, as I had to request a second, and after both times it was said to be a normal thing (a callback from a manager) after I asked again why I had gotten no call then I was outright told I would never get a call. Now the company claims they have no record of these callback requests even thought I remember them in the account support dashboard. These people are frauds and they grossly neglected to do anything about their employees destroying my website over and over, causing me to feel unsafe on the account, that was paid for a year in advance, and I never got to use it again because nothing was ever done about this, and now it's been covered up.
