Feedback:

Front Office at Eastmar is AMAZING!!!! Told them what I needed and when I needed to move in and they exceeded by farrrr! I Work with Christopher and he was very professional, kept me updated on everything and made me felt a lot better about the decision I made coming to Eastmar. Would recommend to anyone!!

Feedback:

I’ve been living here for a year over a now and I love it. Management is helpful and accommodating. Neighbors are quiet. The upkeep is beautiful. My only complaint is the small kitchen sink and no backsplash. For the price we pay (about $1800 monthly for rent) I believe those should be addressed. Also at the moment parking is an issue. I come into the complex sometimes and there’s nowhere to park. Sometimes I have to park outside by the leasing office

Feedback:

I absolutely love living here! Thank you Chris

Feedback:

I hate to be that person to complain, since I really try not to complain. But I am just really surprised what I noticed since I moved in!I’ve lived here for almost a month now and I have noticed things already that I didn’t appreciate or like at all. I had higher expectations for this place since it is new and the price I’m paying for a 1 bedroom. First off, the day I moved in I already noticed my apartment having some damages. The bathroom’s baseboard is chewed up and not properly repaired (if they did try), my patio has black paint splattered that has reached the white trim of the window. There’s a light switch cover that is cracked (which isn’t really a big deal for me), the stove is horribly worn and they can’t replace it since it is expensive they say, there’s a couple dents on my front door, also there’s a huge patch outside my entrance of a whole different color cement they placed that looks trashy, and no -my door mat can’t cover it, it’s twice the size of that. The bath tub wasn’t cleaned properly, I tried my best to clean it and there’s still residue and yellow stains around the tub just won’t come out. I noticed there’s been a possible water leak issue in the past because I see them covered with paint along the wall one side of my living room, and there’s yellow gross rust or similar that’s inside my apartment next to the balcony door on the floor and also I notice white spots around my house on the brown wood flooring it looks like white paint.Oh worst of all in my opinion, I can only take a 3 minute shower because the water is only heated for a minute or 2 before it gets cold again. You can barely even take a bath in that water.. Anyways, the layout is great, super spacious and love the washer and dryer is my favorite. But the community I have noticed that people drive FAST here and the dog park is near the gate so that’s scary, I am surprised there’s no speed bumps here. The parking at night is TERRIBLE, Literally no parking. & if there’s parking maybe on the opposite side of the community and I’m not going to walk across at night. One time I had to park in the car wash cause there’s no where to park and wake up super early the next day to move it before I get in trouble. Even cars has to park on the curbs with yellow paint on them. People also don’t pick up after their dogs, but my past apartment had that issue too until they started to charge 500$ everytime they catch you (and they made all of us do a swab of our dogs so they know where the poop came from.. crazy right lol)But on the positive note, everyone here seems really chill and super nice. I like how there’s a couple cops/state troopers that lives here. The amenities here are awesome, especially the 2 story gym with a yoga room to do your own work outs in! They even have a car wash and a great vacuum to use. The mailbox has its own room that needs a key to go in which is nice. The office staff is great especially Alexia she’s the best. She’s always on top of everything. Hopefully the maintenance people can fix most the issues I have in my apartment soon especially the water heater and the chewed up corner.. I did 3 stars just because I don’t hate the place, I just had higher expectations for it.

I love this place. The apartments, amenities & the staff are amazing. Worth every penny!

Feedback:

Great community & location. I am in this industry so I know the expectations and you all always meet or exceed the expectations! The Office staff is very professional the maintenance team is phenomenal. They get things done in a timely manner. This is honestly a perfect apartment and its very affordable. Due to purchasing we wont be able to stay but if we didn't we would've definitely renewed! Keep up the great work!

Feedback:

THIS PLACE IN AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Please if you have any other choice of apartment or housing take it. I was so excited to move out of student housing because I figured the families would be more quiet, etc. Not only are the walls paper thin but I live on the third floor and the CEILING LEAKS!!! During the hurricane it started and leaks through the light in the kitchen. The only reason it stopped leaking was because the maintenance man pushed the insulation to soak up the water and I'm 99% sure now there is MOLD IN THE CEILING. Also I still hear the water dripping on the ceiling during storms. These are built so haphazardly that the building shakes when there is thunder. On top of that the lawn care people are here 4-5 days a week. So get ready to be woken up almost every day from 7-8 to the lawn mower and leaf blower. They take HOURS in one spot and I have even seen them driving the mowers in the street back and forth to waste time. For example I was woken up today at 8:00 to a lawn mower and still now at 11:30 they're outside my building making noise. This is a students NIGHTMARE, no quiet time to study or anything. The gym barely has any equipment and is not 24/7. Also the clubhouse elevator inspection was EXPIRED for a while in the middle of my lease. Constant noise pollution whether its the construction from the highway, cubesmart, lawn service, etc. The raccoons run absolutely wild, tearing up everyones trash, and leaving feces all over the stairs. It's only now towards the end of the lease when other people are looking to move in that the stairways are pressure cleaned. Oh and by the way, HUGE WASPS get into the screened in balconies and it's sketchy to leave the door open for a breeze. Finally, for the cherry on top, it is waaaay OVERPRICED. I can not wait to move out.

Feedback:

My worst nightmare happened. I was excited to move here. I literally watched it being built from the 408 everyday on the way to work. Application process wasn’t horrible. Paid a $350 surety bond instead of a months rent for a deposit. First to occupy my apartment. The only thing I really loved was the fact that we got to choose a free accent wall, and have them paint it before move in. A few months in management changed. Everything just became a slippery slope. No exaggeration. Raccoons are at my door because of other people’s trash, pet feces everywhere although there are designated dog areas. They just recently implemented visitors parking which is still not much help. You will never be able to park near your apt after 4PM. There’s no security cameras. Someone clearly vandalized a friend of mines car and management did nothing about it. I kid you not, there has been at least 4 break ins feet away from my door. Do you know how uneasy you feel waking up to police everywhere??? Speaking of which, they claim to have police that live here to ensure our “safety” however the same police car has been parked in the same spot for weeks. Near the gate so it looks as if it’s safe here. There are no speed bumps. Everyday is a risk of someone running into you. Parents do not pay attention to their kids. They roam the parking lots and ride dirt bikes and scooters without any supervision. I’m surprised I haven’t witnessed someone getting knocked down yet, only heard. Not to mention the breed of dogs. Neighbors pit bull is always barking and ready to attack whenever walking by. I’ve seen at least 3 more around the community. Paying almost $1300 a month for one bedroom and the amenities aren’t even 24/7. I’m having some hang time with my friends in the clubhouse one night and some “security officer” kicked us out. He didn’t believe I lived here even though I showed him my key card. It was only after 10. How embarrassing. One of the leasing agents in there is completely clueless. She never knows anything you ask. All she’s good for is riding around in a golf cart and showing the one model they have here. I didn’t think of it before the move in, but the kitchen sink is annoying. If you move in, eventually you’ll see why. There’s always little bugs in the corner of the fridge no matter how many times I clean it out. A/C has been down 5 times. The walls HA! Paper machete. I swear our neighbors upstairs run a circus. The people on the side of us are always having sex SO loudly, and constantly. I wonder if they ever go outside. Eastmar lures you in with all these “deals and promotions” but it’s not worth it. Most of these good reviews are mostly from people who have only been here a few weeks. I’d bet on that... I cannot wait for this lease to be done.

Feedback:

Apartments are nice with contemporary appliances & nice sized rooms but are made from styrofoam. I constantly hear the neighbors above me running back & forth sounding like a herd of buffalo & their loud barking dog, sometimes as late as 3am. People are not mindful that they have neighbors & for the money spent, loud rumbling day & night should be at the very minimum. No speed bumps in the parking lot which may be dangerous considering the speed people drive through it. You risk getting hit if you’re walking to your car or pulled out of a space. Mgmt: Please don’t call or email me in an attempt to rectify the matter because I have made this known ample times. Just gonna make the most of it until my lease is up.

Feedback:

For the most part I like living here. We have a nice apartment, the staff here are friendly and my family and I feel safe here. Hopefully they can do more community events. My family and I enjoyed those and it’s an opportunity to get to know our neighbors. There is a sign in front that says, “Shops at Eastmar,” I was hoping we were actually getting shops and not a Cube Smart storage unit facility lol. Other than that this place feels like home and the goal is to stay here until we purchase a home.
