We recently asked Ben to scan several hundred of our old 35mm slides. These were over 40 years old, and had been carelessly stored, pretty much forgotten, in our garage with the attendant extremes of temperatures over the years. Ben did a great job of converting them to modern media and format, and we have just sent him another smaller batch for the same treatment. Ben at Austin Video Solutions was the answer to my problems with converting old miniDV vacation tapes to current MP4 files. He was knowledgeable and professional. When he asked me when I needed it, I said "Day after tomorrow is fine." He said, "How about tomorrow?" He converted seven tapes, repaired one and provided very high quality video files. And the price was reasonable. I would use him again without hesitation.

Ben is an ultimate professional and does excellent work. I initially hired him to transfer 4 older miniDV tapes over to digital onto a USB Drive. He did this quicker than expected — within 24 hours. These tapes were very important to me because they were videos of my wedding from 10 years ago that my wife and I had never seen. I finally decided it was time to surprise her for our 10 year anniversary. When Ben learned of this, he suggested that he could edit the entire wedding into a 6 to 8 minute highlight video. Not an easy task to do with almost 4 hours of footage to sort through. Not only did he complete it in a very timely fashion, he impressed the hell out of me with the quality of his editing and the final version of the highlight video. My wife is going to love it for our anniversary. I highly recommend Ben for all your video projects without reserve.
