Please read – probably the worst experience ever.We are a registered charity operating as a youth center and boxing gym in the borough of Brent in London.We were contacted by blue whale media on a cold call basis by one of the sales team there and were convinced to go ahead with blue whale media. What was supposed to be a fairly straight forward experience turned out to be an absolute shambles and a nightmare in terms of professionalism and performance on their part.We were given timelines at the very start and none of these were met, in fact the production of our website ran over by approximately 4 months.we were passed from staff member to staff member none of which displayed competence in their field, two of which we discovered during the middle of the production of our website ‘had been let go’ according to the owner of the business Gary. Seemed like internally foul play was at hand, not a good sign.We were then given the cold shoulder by Gary because he felt we had not paid the company ‘enough’. We paid the company exactly what they had requested in line with the terms and conditions of their contract they provided us with, yet Gary felt upset that we had not paid more, needless to say we were bemused but from that point were not treated with any courtesy or professionalism, instead with an air of dismissal, as though we were a burden to them.The production of our website was riddled with errors constantly. Basic errors that I had to keep reminding them of. It almost seemed like I was doing 90% of the work for them and when we were approaching the final build they refused to amend stating that it was no longer their remit.If I could describe blue whale media in 3 words I would use the words – rude, incompetent and unprofessional.I would certainly not recommend them to any major companies looking to create or improve their website, would ideally recommend ‘Windows IT pro’ or ‘Redmund’ I did not even want give 1 star but I wouldn't be able to get this story out if I hadnt
