Client Review on Cardinal Digital Marketing


(Updated 5/21/15)We had chosen Cardinal to redesign our website. At the initial meeting, we gave them a detailed color layout of what we wanted and an 8 week deadline for our website. They agreed, and agreed to design a logo. We also explained our business and target audience in detail. The logo ideas Cardinal presented did not mesh with our work or target audience at all. We expressed this, but the second round of options was not much better. Finally, I created a logo myself and asked them to use it. Cardinal offered to make the logo package for the logo I designed. Cardinal then presented us with a very different site layout than we had requested, and one we found unappealing. We gave them feedback at every stage, restating what we wanted. Two days before the mutually-agreed launch date, Cardinal said they needed 3 more weeks to finish the site IF there were no changes. When we said again that we wanted to use our original design as had been agreed, they said that would cost extra and take longer. At this point we pulled the plug. We never received the logo package or any website work.We have tried to negotiate with them for a year, and still have no agreement. We feel we have made reasonable reconciliation offers, but Cardinal is not willing to agree. The best offer Cardinal made was to give us back about 1/3 of our deposit if we posted 5-star reviews for them first.
