While overall they treat their clients well, they do not treat their staff well. Upper management has "favorites". I would not recommend working here.

i went to camp rocks. it was really fun but it was full of lies. in the sign up, they said they had lemonade, but when i told them that i wanted that ,and they said they diddnt have it and i was upset. they said that the water was going to be warm, but when a girl went to the beach water she said " i thought you said the water was going to be warm" but it wasnt and the staff said they never said that even though they did. i asked if there was scissors at the cabin and they said yes. when i asked to have them,they said they diddnt have them and that was one of the rules. and they said that they diddnt say that they had scissors, but they did!1/10.

Wonderful experience! The staff were all highly professional and very caring. I can't say enough good about these people. They assisted me with employment and I couldn't be happier in my new job. THANKS TO ALL!

Easterseals Crossroads is a non-profit organization that strives to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. They offer a variety of services including children's speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapy, early intervention, driver training (for individuals with disabilities and assessments for older adults that may no longer be appropriate for driving), veterans services, deaf community services, vocational rehab, transition services for individuals transitioning from high school to employment, and adult day services. My favorite program they offer is the respite services. This includes summer camps and Friday evening programs like Parent's Night Out, Teen Night Out, and CHEER. Parent's Night Out is a Lilly grant-funded program that allows parents to bring their children with disabilities and typically developing siblings on Friday evenings once a month for games and activities, while the caregivers have a restful night out, for free! The staff are specifically trained to work with children with significant needs to create a safe, engaging space. Teen Night Out and CHEER are similar programs, but specifically for the individuals with disabilities to foster social interaction with peers (for teens and adults). CHEER , the adult respite program, often participates in community outings and special events like going to hockey games, comedy shows, and hosting a prom! The main location (Kingsway Drive), recently underwent renovations to the main lobby which significantly updated the building's feel from the dinosaur ages to the current time. Employees are truly passionate about helping others throughout the entire lifespan.

A complete waste of my time. Easterseals put me with the worst job coach I ever experienced. She belittled me as if my disabilities weren't legit even though I supplied her with medical documentation, and she knew Voc Rehab already did a thorough intake exam with me indicating that my disabilities are very real. I despise the treatment I received from her, and when I complained to her supervisor, he supervisor sided with her. This entire appalling experience left me feeling very violated and ignored. Easterseals may help some, but whatever services they have, it's apparently only for selected individuals that they think need help. Medical documents and exam results seem to have no bearing at all, and Easterseals closed their doors on me. I should have reported them to the EEOC.

My overall experience with this facility & the employee's was a very pleasant one. The employee's were very polite & helpful. The building was always well kept & clean. As was the parking lot.
