Feedback:

Constant passing of the buck. Right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing. Incessantly being put on hold to have to reiterate or explain my issue over and over again. Had my card charged, was then told it wasn’t charged and to call my bank. Bank tells me they’re looking at the charge in real time. Call riverstreet back and they deny charging my card. I then get put on hold only to have the next person admit they did charge my card and in fact charged it twice.Now waiting on the 7 days it will take for the charges to be reversed. GARBAGE tier customer service. Very little communication between departments, noone can answer a question without putting you on hold or transferring you to someone else. I know its “rural internet” but if i could get Windstream or spectrum I’d never give another penny to Wilkes Communications.

This is the absolute worst telecommunication company I have ever had to deal with. If there was a minus star I would give them that rating. When people from my business try to call the Albemarle area we get frequent recordings that say “all trunks are busy”. This goes on for hours on end. I have not been able to return a call to a client this morning who needed to know about her insurance policy before she went to her doctor. Twice I got a call that her number was disconnected and I know that is not true because I called her back on the number she called me from. I tried 10 times to reach her between 8:30 and 11:10 am. If I was a customer in this area, I would be seeking out alternative options like vonage.

The website was easy to use. I set up an account for my mom so she can have the convenience of paying her bill online now. They have great pricing and have been in our area over a year now. When I have been in the office or drive thru the staff ate always kind and have a smile.
