Client Review on Flipside Group

I so wanted to like Flipside. As someone who's trying to make less of an impact of the planet, plant based cafes and restaurant really appeal. I found Flipside through instragram and went there with my girlfriend. When we entered, we weren't really sure what to order. The staff tried to be helpful, but really just confused us more. It's really unhelpful that they name one of the burger options after of of the patty options. We were given a buzzer and found somewhere to sit. After sbout 10-15 minutes it went off and I had to go collect the food. It was luke warm. Maybe the patty had been warm but the rest was cold so it evened out but this wasn't a great first impression. To be fair, the burger was tasty. I'd definitely have it again. Later we ordered dessert. There were loads of unlabelled and unpriced options on the counter. I had one of those and my girlfriend had a brownie with ice cream. I took my muffin back to the table and the waitress said she'd bring the brownie. We saw her walk past out table with a box of icecream, go into the back and then reappear with the dessert. But no spoon. We had to walk back to the stand the waitress has just passed to get a plastic spoon. None of this was cheap either. Flipside didn't seem to know what it was trying to be and the staff weren't helpful. Must try harder. A lot harder.
