Hosford & Hosford is a professional and dependable law firm. Everyone from the office staff to the lawyers really care about their clients. Valerie Hosford is very thorough and is an amazing trial lawyer. She was able to get my husband sole custody of his daughter, which is not a easy feat for a father in San Luis Obispo county. Valerie truly cared about the outcome of the case and the safety of our child. We highly recommend Hosford & Hosford and we are extremely grateful that God put them in our corner.

Don't use Hosford & Hosford! Don't believe any of the good reviews as they're probably fake. They don't care about their clients or the best interest of children. They only care about getting money out of you for their next luxury vacation. They don't even show up to court dates when you need them. You have been warned!

Honestly the best experience with a law firm to date, and unfortunately have experience with plenty so that means a lot. Entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive, from when you walk in and speak to the lovely ladies working the front, to getting paperwork done with the extremely knowledgeable paralegals in the back.Both Stephan and John helped me out more than I thought possible, to get my kids back, as well as through my divorce. They are busy, but for a reason - they have a lot to do, and know how to do it. Even being busy, I was still able to speak personally with John more than enough to help me feel comfortable and calm in a tense situation, feeling confident that all of Hosford & Hosford was behind me, doing what needed to be done to prepare paperwork and for the trial so that my children could be safe.

John represented me through my divorce and subsequent custody/support modification request. I am so thankful for the way he guided me to a positive outcome on both occasions. He was sincere and worked hard to execute my wishes. I really felt like he cared about my situation. Ami and all of the office staff were kind, professional and responsive to my needs. I would definitely recommend Hosford & Hosford.

I definitely agree with the concept that these people are shady AF. Ask their peers, or a judge if you’re lucky enough. Nothing but nonsense !!!

Lazy, incompetent, entitled, sneaky liars who have their paralegals do all of the work. The judge asked the other attorney to explain case law to him, the wife filled in and didn’t even know anything about the case and the son made up lies and was caught by the judge. Hot mess! Ruining lives one case at a time. Don’t be the person to pay for their next lavish vacation that they will miss your trial for.

This lawyer was one of the most incompetent lawyers I have ever dealt with. Cost me a ton of money and I’m still not done. He walked away. Run don’t walk away from the firm of Hosford and Hosford. It’s almost like he has early stages of something.

I wanted to speak with someone here to discuss my case. There was zero effort to return a phone call, after I finally got someone to talk to me (the person whose name I was given never did speak to me) I was told that there was a $250/hr consultation fee, after which they would tell me if they'd take the case and what their retainer was. I realize people are busy, but a little effort and compassion go a long way - this firm lacks both
