I got started in SEO in 2001 when working on a personal project that got top rankings in Google for a major city keyword.

I was building quality links simply to drive traffic, and experienced the power of link development.

In 2004 I went to work full-time for an SEO company, before starting my own business in 2006. My focus is on organic SEO with an emphasis on link marketing since they are the core ranking factor for major search engines.

Ive been a Link Columnist for Search Engine Watch, and have written three advanced SEO courses for Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO). In addition Ive spoken at Search Engine Strategies (SES) conferences in NYC, Chicago, San Jose, and Seattle.
