Working here didn't work out for me due to differing standards of ethics. First, the job listing I answered was for "administrative assistant" and they don't even have those at the company. Second, I was not told up front that I would be doing cold sales of Xfinity internet/TV packages in Best Buy; next, I was not told that you do not get paid for the day unless you close a sale (if you do close a sale, you get just $60 for the day--less than minimum wage). I see that the CEO has given herself 5 stars on Google Reviews and dismisses her disgruntled ex-employees by saying we just weren't good at the job anyway. In reality, I am happy to work 10 hours a day six days a week at a tough job. But if I do so and commute three hours a day, I want to get paid, which isn't exactly asking for the moon in Houston's thriving economy. If you are considering a job here, I advise you not to waste your time-there are many, many healthy companies that will happily pay you for your work and time. A coworker who opened my eyes to what a scam it is during my first week of work confided that they had worked 5 weeks and made $300 (TOTAL in 5 WEEKS). Approaching Best Buy shoppers trying to sell them Xfinity packages is a difficult task with which even seasoned salespeople struggle. Because workers do not get paid a penny unless they succeed at this, and because there are thousands of other companies in Houston who will happily pay for talent and labor, JWon Consultants is pathetically noncompetitive and will almost certainly be out of business within the next couple years, if not sooner, due to the fact that this is a flawed and non-functioning business model. No one is making money at this--this is not your next big career move. If you are between this and joining a pyramid scheme, do the pyramid scheme, because JWon is a pyramid scheme too AND you commute and lose money on gas. I quit and got a different full-time job for which I get paid for my work (what a concept)! You can too, and you don't have to lose a week of your life. Just in case you were impressed by their website, as I was before my interview: Rumor at the company is that the CEO had an employee build it for free, right before she fired him. Isn't that charming?Edited to add: It says on the CEO's LinkedIn profile that she's looking for new opportunities. That makes this company look real great!

Every time im called in for a "marketing" interview it comes from this building. They are lies! Just another sales door to door sales job! Building it self looks fine but ac is not always on.

Went in for an interview and it was like a sweat shop in the front office. Poor office conditions. I knew after my brief interview that this place was bad news. Don't bother even going in for an interview.

Scam scam scam...this company advertised an administrative assistant position which I applied and was told that I applied for sales. This company is pure bait and switch and requires you to do Cold sales. I don't want to work for a company that's dishonest and lies about small things bcuz this is just a preview of what's to come. They're also black & white inc. So please beware when applying to this company I found them to be very misleading.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This company is a giant SCAM. Their job posting advertised for an administrative position with medical benefits starting at 25,000$ annual income. My interview was short and unprofessional - I was told I would be making 10$ an hour with no benefits and instead of being an admin assistant I would spend my day making phone calls with a quota to reach of 150. They advertise on their job posting a close knit corporate culture and that they want a team player. I mentioned this in the interview as a desirable thing and was told they were a very small business (not corporate) and that there was really no "Teamwork" involved and that I would be working alone and not interacting with my fellow coworkers. What a freakin' JOKE. Not to mention the office was old, dingy and swelteringly hot. Don't fall for these SCAMMERS! What a waste of my time!

I interviewed and got the job. I was hesistant but I decided to go through with everything. I thought this would be a marketing job. When I want into the 3rd interview, they told us we would be selling Xfinity services. (I do not like Xfinity at all) So I decided against working with the company due to me not believing in this company. (They lie to get a sell) I'm glad I decided not to work here looking at other reviews. I work part time and make more than $60 per day.

This company is an absolute scam. Forget it. Don't even attempt to work here. Friends have lost time and money here, as you only get paid IF you make a sale in the day. One person made $300 total in five. whole. weeks. With Houston's incredible economy, apply elsewhere. Apply next door. Hell, apply at a McDonalds, as you'll make more money there part-time. This company does not appreciate talent and a hard work ethic; they simply want to churn poor suckers to sell internet packages to unsuspecting Best Buy and Wal-Mart customers. I guarantee you many (if not all) of these five star reviews are fake accounts from the manager who simply sit on their fat ass while making money off the hard work of their "sales consultants" and shelling out little compensation. You're better off working for a pyramid scheme. At least there's some money involved.
