Adam Fuchs arrived today to do Fall Preparation for our irrigation system. What a great guy; polite, competent, and willing to teach me about our system. I don't write a lot of reviews, but today's experience was exceptional. I hope that OSI recognized his talent as a technician and as a SUPERB representative of their company!Liz, in the office, is similarly professional and helpful. I have to say that I was quite impressed with both of these employees.

If it was possible I would give 0 stars! Prepaid for my lawn services in February, have been waiting over a month for the first application. Called twice to find out when they are coming out, their reply; ' you are on the schedule'. Meanwhile my neighbors empty lot is filled with dandelions and the wind is depositing the seeds all over my yard. Already established weeds are growing and spreading with each passing day. No communications from them at all as to why the delay and when they are coming. Meanwhile other neighbors who have other services have had their first applications and have been scheduled to get the second application in early June.

I've been a customer of OSI for about a decade and they have done nice work. However, last season, I paid in advance for the entire fertilization season and OSI did not come to fertilize during the scheduled months. When I asked the lawn person why 3 MONTHS had passed without any fertilization and it's now late October and the last time I had my lawn fertilized was mid June, I was told a lot of excuses one of which was bad weather. He started arguing with me because I said we didn't have 3 months of rain. When I asked to talk to a manager, he handed the phone to his manager who apparently was sitting right next to him listening to the call and didn't appear to care that his employee was arguing with a me. I am disappointed with this type of service and these types of behaviors on a number of levels: 1.) What happened to the fertilization schedule once a person pays in full? 2.) Why is it acceptable to go 3 months in summer with no ferritization? (Isn't July, August, September a primetime when grass needs nutrients? That's what I was told when I bought the package.) 3.) Why is it okay for OSI employees to argue with a paying customer? 4.) Why is an employee's argumentative behavior condoned by OSI management? So after ten years of doing business with this company. I cancelled my contract and asked for the rest of my money back.

I had cancelled Tru Green because they did not show up when they said. I am having the same problem with OSI and they are more expensive. I just want good reliable service, is that to much to ask anymore??
