These guys produced the whole show for Akamai's recent Tech Week event, and it was superb. I only dealt with Rick and Wayne and their crew directly around a live music event featured on the second night, but they made a complex and potentially very tricky situation a complete breeze. A nine person band with a total of something like seven guitars, six amplifiers, six different monitor mixes, ten guest performers sitting in, seven vocal mics, last-minute surprises such as a sax player joining in, karaoke feed for the monitors, etc. Dan and J and everyone else on the crew not only handled our requests with ease, but they apparently made us sound great in the room, and I know we sounded great on stage. The light show they put on the big screen behind us was a complete surprise and extra bonus. This is not to mention the dozens of individual breakout sessions and rooms, the lavish keynotes, the stressed-out Akamai social committee... :-) They saw all of it through with grace and expertise.These guys are the real deal, consummate professionals and just plain nice people. I could not possibly say enough good things about the Preston crew... I can't see trusting this amazing company event to anyone else!
