I had my website designed from scratch by Samson Web Design. They did a brilliant job with the whole layout of the website to which I am extremely pleased with. They talked me through the whole process and explained everything very clearly to me step by step in basic terms - and they didn't mind any questions that I had ! 5 stars :o)

It all started off good.After the site was finished though I realised there were quite a few bugs. (Search button would not work, checkout not working, things falling off the edge of the page, site loops back to home page etc...)They said it was down to my browser or the cart software so I didn't hassle them. I felt a bit palmed off but lived with it. I never made a pain of myself as I was only ever on the phone a 3-4 times per year after completion. Not excessive as i was paying £400 p.a hosting.Then one day i called up about getting Paypal Express installed, they didn't want to talk to me and told me they've got other sites that turn over £3 million and this is just a £3000 a month site which is not even Tablet compatible and it's really outdated anyway - So I should start again with a Shopify website.I could not believe they said that given they'd designed the website only a year earlier.I was not asking a daft question or expecting anything free - They're just plainly not interested after completion. So I moved the hosting to another company which was less than half price (EcommWeb). Within a couple of months I got all the bugs that came with the site fixed & all the upgrades that I'd been wanting for ages done. Cost of the fixes was about £800. (Factor that into any quote from Samson).Now it all works well and any issues or upgrades i need just get done within a week or so by EcommWeb.SummaryYes Samson's design was good but expect to spend more money with another developer fixing the problems they've left on the site. After completion they'll tell you the website they've just designed for you is rubbish and you should go elsewhere.Or you could just go straight to Shopify Websites before they tell you to.MEV SPARES(PS EcommWeb have just done a makeover for me - Over the moon with them)
