I'm a cinematographer out of Portland Or and have shot with Nathan on multiple occasions. He is so good at what he does and creates some of the best wedding films. Wish I could have hired him for my wedding 7 years ago.

Nate made the most incredible video of our wedding day. He captured moments from our rehearsal dinner (which included extended family&friends) and our entire day of: getting ready, arriving, the ceremony, reception, and epic dance party. The highlight film was hands down AMAZING. My husband and I watched it probably 10+ times the day he gave us the finished product! We still watch it on a regular basis because it holds the best moments from our big day. Our family that was unable to make it to the wedding were so thankful for a full ceremony and speech video, it helped them feel like they still were a part of that day. Don't hesitate hiring Sunlit Films, it is totally worth it!

We hired Sunlit Films to do our promo video for our small business. My wife had a very specific vision for the video and in our initial meetings with Nate, he listened to all of our ideas respectfully and carefully, took our story board seriously, and fused his knowledge, perspectives, creativity, and practicality to complete the vision. Nate was prompt with communication and our timeline. The final project far exceeded our expectations with a very successful execution by Sunlit Films. In one day, Nate met our various crew members at 5 different locations. He can work on his toes and impromptu. We were racing the sun after a parade of trucks drove through one scene we filmed in a cane field, causing an unplanned disruption. With the delay, Nate still made the rest of the night work, almost effortlessly, ending at the beach for sunset.Nate has a unique combination of professionalism with his warm, personable character. His work ethic was unprecedented. He clearly loves what he does; he was genuinely friendly and encouraging about the project. He had a great attitude. We also valued his attention to the more technical aspects, while remaining flexible to make sure he got the best shots. He was focused and present during the shooting. He saw things we didn't think of in all of the preparation and planning with his big picture scope. And he was also aware and attentive to the small details and captured them with beautiful transitions and fluidity. Nate tells a very good story through film. Go watch our Awaken Tea film. We are excited to work with Sunlit Films for future projects.

Once we stumbled across Sunlit Films, my husband and I quickly realized that Nate's natural ability and the videos he produced were among the best! Beyond that, we were blown away by his professionalism, responsiveness, and overall great vibe. There were a lot of little touches that made working with him special but obviously the outcome of our videos was the best! We are coming up on a year and are SO grateful to have a video. There was a moment we contemplated not getting one as the money adds up but now we always talk about how it was one of the best decisions we made. Thanks again to Sunlit Films!!Ryan and Leah Boevree

My husband and I hired Nate to film our full wedding week. We had him on a full day trip to Lanai with sailing, whale watching, snorkeling, etc.. and he jumped right in capturing precious moments with my family above and below the water. The following day he was there again filming our Rehearsal Dinner speeches which we love to watch and hear the kind words and see the emotions shared by friends and family which still bring tears to my eyes. Then came to HUGE production where he shot video for 10 hours for our big wedding day. Nate worked so diligently to capture every moment from the ceremony, cocktail reception, pics with the bride & groom, toasts, dancing the night away, you name it, he was there!I am a wedding planner and can not recommend videography enough to brides who are wanting to capture their special day. It is so much more than pictures can give you! Get married on Maui usually means that a lot of family and friends are not able to be there as well so having a video is such a great way to show them later and let them feel like they were there! Nate allowed us to use songs in the video that have special meaning to us so hearing these songs and seeing the best day of our life partnered with them is out of this world! Seeing the love of my life say "i do" and dancing all night with me is something I will cherish forever and get to show my kids one day! Sunlit films can be trusted with a responsibility like that and produce high quality, exceptional work.

Nate flew out to Oregon to shoot our Wedding. He was very professional and became instant friends with our photographers and the venue owners. They worked great together and the final project shows. Everything from the music to camera angles are perfect, and he was able to capture every moment of our wedding. He made it special for us and made sure that we will not miss a detail when we watch it many years down the road. Nate is a stand up guy and made sure the day was about us. I would recommend him to anyone!!!
