A buddy of mine worked for Surge, and kept inviting me to apply. I got sick of 100% travel with the previous gig, so decided to give it a shot this past June. I haven't regretted my decision. Surge supports its developers, without sacrificing the quality service that the customers receive. It's a growing company, but still has that small-shop camaraderie via online events and 24/7 social interaction on Slack.
