Been using this service for shuttles to access the haw for through trips. Generally, anytime other than today I can walk-in get a shuttle and be on my way. Pretty clueless staff when it comes to helping someone out. Homeboy just stopped talking to me after they were unable to accommodate my request. I’ve had better luck hitch hiking to my spot. Never getting my money again. The haw river boat company”we care about large groups of people that pay us a lot of money, but not our locals”

I highly recommend Haw River Canoe and Kayak!! Jacob has a great crew of people working there this summer...big shout out to Christian, Ian, Caroline, and Owen. On my kayak trip yesterday, I saw a Mississippi Kite, a bald Eagle, 4 blue heron, and 2 anise swallowtails. It was an amazing day!! Thank you Jacob!! You are the best!!

A nice little outfit in saxapahaw. The price for two separate kayaks was reasonable and we had a great time on the river. We did the area which kind of was a big lake, and we saw a king Fisher with a fish in its mouth, other birds and fish jumping out of the water. We had a great time, me and my 68 year old father.

Shuttle service was excellent. Employee was very helpful with loading, unloading, and launching the kayaks. He also did a great job of explaining what we were going to encounter as far as portage around the dam and how to do it. He was a big help in putting out mind at ease for our first trip down the Haw River. Thanks!

Nice people and very helpful. Prices are typical. The “lake” is a really nice place to explore around on the kayaks.
