Gave one star because can’t leave a review without clicking on one, but purchased a bag of frozen breaded okra last night got home fried them an I be durn the breaded part was full of plastic and I got chocked off a huge piece of plastic off one. So uhhh never again will I purchase anything else from this company. I’ll make my own breaded okra

Found what looks like bugs in the Brussels sprouts and their home frozen in the process. Yuck. I emailed the company and I will update the review if needed. They did respond and apologized. They also sent me some coupons for free items.

Bought 6 bags of turnip greens to cook for Bible Study for tomorrow night. Decided I would go ahead and cook them alittle tonight. Noticed a lot of stems in them, cooked them for a while, once they were unthawed, stirred them several times. That's when I noticed the brown thing in them, which I hoped was a stem, got it out, it was the shell part of a big bug, possibly a Roach. Needless to say we will not be having them for dinner tomorrow night. I immediately became nauseated. They even had a funny smell to them.I tried to send an email to the company, which was undeliverable due to some error with the email address, noted on the bag and also the website. I took a picture to send to the company with the bag beside it (whatever it is). Wish I could attach it to this post.I have a hard time even giving them one star. Will wait and see what becomes of this issue. I plan on returning it to the store where I bought it, since I am unable to reach the company!

I will never purchase Pictsweet again! I bought a frozen bag of purple hull peas, opened it, dumped it in my clear, glass bowl to rinse them off and soak them . Guess what I saw as I dumped the peas in the bowl? Frozen maggots. I never write reviews but I want to bring awareness to other families. Please pay attention to ALL food. We must stop putting our trust into these companies. I saw a total of 3 maggots. I believe there were probably more maggots broken in pieces, but only 3 were very noticeable. It's no need for me to contact Pictsweet because they won't do anything different. Families please pay attention to all food, especially frozen and packaged foods. God bless you all.

Fast unloading. I had a very hard time understanding any of the employees, though, because they had extremely thick accents. If you’re from the southeast, though, you might have better luck with that.

No signs directing trucks to shipping docks. 5 pm appt. loaded at 10:45 pm. The night shift shipping crew was nice enough. Day shift could have cared less. I noticed they have a big new facility south of Brownsville. Hopefully better place to load

This 5 stars isn't for the actually perception or conception of pictsweet itself. But just for the integrity of their products and their bad reviews when I believe it's a situation out of their hands. Please take a time to think...Refrigerated and also packed "No visible" vegetables who by any out comprehensible and normal understandable situation or circumstances while in transit got unfrozen or below their standard required temperature.. It will get damaged and if the product still in fresh temperature...Would no show a sign of damage or bad odor unless you open the merchandise and checked. Anyhow...when that merchandise gets to pictsweet its storaged in proper frozen coolers and sold without any apparent damage. Unless the product it's sold or comes in transparent packages. I do no work for pictsweet or any affiliation but I'm a honest hard working person, father and husband who go by the integrity and protection & reputation of fair acts in the transportation business.. And I'll tell you that at this moment I have under my supervision a load for pictsweet, in which the trailer has been serviced two weeks ago, proper temperature watch and strange things happened to this cooling system in which has been working in a erratic way..including turning off by no reasonable action. I'll guarantee you that if this shipment would be handled by other person . it would be the same case as in the reviews in the matter of unfrozen, damaged vegetables getting bad at peoples food tables or kitchen and no by culpability of pictsweet. I'm no denying that some measures need to take place for things like that don't happen or at least too often but, pictsweet need to hear from you by calling them ... So please ...If you had a issue with pictsweet contact them, let them know what's going on and maybe they will arrange the way how you can get the fresh vegetable on your table.///// At this point I had completed my route for them and honestly nothing negative out of the ordinary .

This is not acceptable. I purchased what I thought was pictured on the front o the amazing packaged. To my surprised after opening it. There I found tough stalks and 1 and 1/2 very tiny florets. I don't mind paying for what I want. But this is a shame and disgrace. I took the photos back to my local grocery store to show them what they are selling from this manufacturer hopefully they will discontinue and decide to drop them and find another. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU....And then the picture that I uploaded of the contents will not even show up in the post. EXTRA EXTRA SHAME SHAME ON YOU... HOW DISGUSTING....
