Loved Walton Lofts when I moved in but it's gone down hill fast. First 6 months were great, after that - the changes in service and amenities are astounding and management is TERRIBLE!First, they can't keep a consistent employee at the front desk for more than two weeks. Literally, the ENTIRE staff turns over every two weeks. I've never seen anything like it any place I've lived. It's actually pretty disturbing. I don't know if they treat employees poorly or what, but I've never seen such turnover. Second, there is pretty much no security in the building. You can walk into the garage randomly as the door stays open for long periods of time when someone is moving. The front desk does not monitor this well so the door literally stays open for hours. Third, we used to have front desk hours until 8pm and packages were delivered to our door. Now, they've shortened desk hours to 5pm and no package delivery and no package lockers. If I don't get home by 5 (which I NEVER DO) I can literally wait a week just to pick up a package. Fourth, if you have a dog - DO NOT take them to the rooftop dog area. It's utterly disgusting. Guarantee your dog will get sick. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I do like my actual apartment unit. I am facing the water and have floor to ceiling windows. The building is pretty good construction so I don’t hear a peep from my neighbors. It’s also SUPER nice to have air conditioning. Maintenance is also great. They are very responsive and timely. If you're contemplating moving here - be cognizant of the issues listed above and know management is HORRIBLE!!
