It would be much better if they appreciated experience over focusing on youth. They currently create a strong stance for age discrimination. The current almost-children-who-can-read stutter constantly to get the story out due to nervousness. I could trust an older person over a younger one when it comes to the weather. If you want to appeal to younger people, do so on their medium. Leave the adult focus to adults. It's easy to dismiss anything your kiddie reporters say when they can't perform their job properly on-air. There are examples of exactly this with every single airing.

My granddaughter had won the weather picture and we was picking up her prize. The people are very nice there. We received her prize pack from Lisa and Evan.
