Client Review on Zoek, Inc.

I recently posted a one-star review for this company (facts from initial review below). Since then, I've been contacted by Zoek to resolve my issue. My entire experience with Zoek was soured by the unscrupulous performance of one employee and the failure of management in this respect to recognize the inactivity on my account at an earlier date. That's an unfortunate coincidence. Even so, Zoek was very attentive to my complaint, refunded all my money, cancelled my business account and upon my request, terminated my contract, gave me back ownership of my Google My Business account and even offered to complete the initial promise of SEO within a short time. Had this not been my first experience with outsourcing to improve my internet presence, I would have further endeavored into SEO with Zoek. However, once bitten, twice shy as they say. If you're considering SEO, I'm impressed with the way Zoek handled my situation and I believe they've enhanced their safeguards to protect against a recurrence. If/when I consider contracting for web assistance, I would consider using Zoek again. By the way, Zoek has not asked me to rescind my initial review. The facts listed in my initial one-star review:I signed a 6-month contract with Zoek for SEO on 5/31/19 which stated that Zoek would begin work on my website immediately. On 6/03/19, I created a copy of my website (unpublished) for Zoek to use to enhance my keywords. I also sent them an invitation to edit. On 7/09/19, in reviewing the site history for this website copy, I noticed it had not been accessed since its creation. I also noticed that the keywords on my home page were the same ones I had initially entered.On 7/10/19, I noticed that the invitation to edit the copy of my website had expired on 7/09/19 without being accepted. In summary, in 5 weeks, Zoek has charged me $450 and has completed no work. I'm currently disputing the charges with my credit card company. Proceed with caution.
