What an awesome spot tucked into a gorgeous location. We visited during a busy Saturday night and had no problem finding a table to sit at. We tried quite a few beers and really enjoyed the special variants. It is a small place, so be prepared for them to run out of some things during a busy evening. While here, grab a few cans to go!

Saxapahaw Ales tastes great! It was very nice to check the views around well enjoy the Ales, after 3.5 hrs canoes trip. LOL

The beer is good but the service is not. Went here with family over the weekend. Was told the beer I wanted was not on tap, but I could purchase a four pack for a better price. Purchased the four pack and was given two glasses to drink them out of. We had children with us, as there was a festival going on, and were keeping tabs on them. We had to walk away briefly to watch the children and the bartender came out and took the unopened remaining two beers back. He said there was an “unattended NC beer law”. Very ridiculous and unprofessional, not to mention I had already paid $25 for four beers!

We had a hard time finding this place because there is absolutely no signage. Beer is great! The folks sitting at the bar and the bar tender made us feel like we were disturbing them. After visiting more then 60 breweries, I think this may be among the the most unwelcoming. Pompous comes to mind.

Good place to go for drink a beer and stay relax. The good thing is that they beers are local, super good and tasty. They have a variety of beers. The only thing I would recommend is that the bartender be more friendly. Pet friendly. Overall great place to go!!
