They told me I could deduct all the money I spent on their representation for my divorce (with regards to litigating financial related matters) on my tax return. They even drafted a letter for my accountant. He laughed at the letter and said they should know better. I took that letter to another accountant for a second opinion and they said there is no law that gives me the ability to deduct my personal legal fees unless I was receiving alimony. The letter is just one small example of how this firm took almost all of my life savings without honestly and effectively representing me.
