I had to give them one star. It should be zero. These guys claim to be a small hometown bank but look no differently at you than a big bank. I brought them a business purchase acquisition that Bob looked at and said, “This looks great! I see no reason why you shouldn’t buy this business.” This would have been an opportunity to grow and expand. “Oh but let’s look at the big picture.” Which means, “We are actually a big bank that could care less what you could do for the community.” Big picture is that I started my businesses during the recession and even though they are successful and make money- not enough for them. Funny how the banks got the bailout during the recession but us small business people are still just trying to dig themselves out with no help from them. He didn’t ask what my business does or ask how I operate or how I intend to grow and transform the new business, making an already profitable business grow exponentially. The last one I purchased using a women’s only micro-lender grew 500% in the last three years. There was no personalized service at this bank. No support for local, small business here.
