Occurence 11pm ish 8/16/19, doing speed limit just east of Euless PD on 10 and heading west.In Euless, it is legal to tailgate then hit while passing, a slower moving vehicle and continue on. Damage or not, leaving the scene of an accident is a hit and run. I thought tailgating was too. It took a mile of me following, for the driver to finally pull over which admitted hitting me as well. At least this is the final judgement of PD Officers that arrived on the scene 1 mile down the road.Occurence 9:45pm 8/17/19, walking to my vehicle some random male is hanging out in the dark behind my vehicle. As I enter my vehicle to get something out, he decides to try and sell me a machete, which he called a knife. My wife was on her way that way as well. When the Euless PD was notified via a non-emergency call as the male had done nothing illegal, they were quick to respond. The issue, is that when I was explaining to the officers, one said I wasn't Batman. I am looking out for the safety of my wife, and others including the person trying to make an ill thought out sale. What IF I thought I heard something else and then saw the "knife" what IF that scenario occurred with someone intoxicated? Do they take this seriously? I know the old timers did, like the one who gave me my LTC test.
